Fall is here!

Fall is Coming!

I was hoping to be able to transfer all the old blog posts from our last site.  Unfortunately, it seems there was a glitch, and I can’t get them.  I’ll keep trying, but for now, we have a new site and all new blog posts.

While creating this site, I hired a “design company” and paid them a deposit and they turned out to be scammers.  So, that was a loss.   Then I went to another agency and things were looking good right up until they disappeared.   All communication stopped.   Didn’t lose any money that time.  So, after that, I decided to build it myself   I’m not a web designer by any means, but we have a site that is up. So, if you notice anything that isn’t working, please let me know.  I’ll get right on it.  Thanks!

Anyway, a little late in the season now, so not much going on for a few months.  We’ll be pulling our honey supers, then treating for mites, and wrapping the hives for winter within a week or two.  At that point, we FEED, FEED, FEED like crazy until it gets too gold to do so.  Then we take the feeders off and keep our fingers crossed that they all survive the winter.

For right now, the girls are very busy all day every day bringing in lots of reddish and orange pollen.   So, I’ll give them a few more days.
